About ARSA
The American Rettungshunde Sport Association, also known as the American Rescue Dog Sport Association, is a national organization dedicated to the search and rescue sport. Founded in 2021, ARSA is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organization and is incorporated as a nonstock (non-profit) corporation in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

ARSA is a member of the American Working Dog Federation (AWDF) and operates under international rules issued jointly by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and the International Rescue Dog Organization (IRO). ARSA is authorized to send teams to the FCI World Championship for Rescue Dogs through the AWDF.
