Building the Search and Rescue Sport in America

ARSA, a national organization dedicated to the search and rescue sport, offers an internationally recognized training program built around obedience, agility, and scent work. Our program is intended to help those who are active in the sport improve their skills through training and testing. The skills required by the sport may also be useful to operational SAR teams.

Commonly called RH--Rettüngshunde, or rescue dog--it has similarities to and is an ideal supplement to IGP (Schutrzhund) and to obedience, agility, AKC tracking, and others. RH is suitable for most breeds, including older dogs when other sports have become too physically demanding.
