Introducing the IPO-R (search and rescue dog sport)
New Canine sport in US
Instructor – Bill Dotson 45 years in Search and Rescue
Developer of First International Disaster dog Team for US Government
Responded to over 400 missions, including 7 major disaster missions – Armenia, Philippines, Oklahoma City, Katrina.
2 days of introducing the new canine sport, lectures, videos, field work.
The IPO-R tests are given internationally from Europe to Asia to South America. Sanctioned by the FCI through the American Working Dog Federation (AWDF).
There are tests in Tracking, Area Search, Rubble search, Man trailing and Avalanche. There is an obedience/agility/directional portion.
Audience – SAR K9, Agility, IGP, Mondioring, Nosework, anyone interested in training their dog in a new challenging sport.
Open to registered and unregistered dogs
12 working K9 slots and unlimited audit slots. $150 (both day) K9 slot, $50 audit slot (both days)
